Tuckers Octopus
A 45ft 2002 Southwest Durham Steelcraft 4 berth cruiser stern narrowboat.
A 2004 58ft Alexander Boat Builders 6 berth semi traditional stern narrowboat.
Cosette is a beautiful 58ft semi-traditional stern narrowboat built by Alexander Boatbuilders in 2004. She presents in very good condition and offers a practical, comfortable layout suited to both cruising and extended stays aboard.
Externally, she is finished in a cheerful red livery with navy and cream accents, complemented by a navy cratch cover over the bow deck. She was last blacked in May 2025.
Entering from the stern, the bedroom is fitted with a fixed double bed and benefits from both wardrobe and drawer storage. Forward of this is the bathroom, which includes a shower, corner basin and cassette toilet.
The galley is well arranged with a four-burner gas hob, separate built-in oven, fridge, and sink with drainer. There is ample worktop space and good cupboard storage, making it a practical area for day-to-day use.
Opposite a side hatch is a Pullman-style dinette, which can be converted into an additional double berth when needed. At the bow, the saloon provides a comfortable living space with a sofa that also converts into a double bed, along with a diesel Bubble stove for heating.
Cosette is a very well-presented boat with flexible sleeping arrangements and a layout that makes good use of the available space. She is ready to be enjoyed on the water, whether for leisure cruising or longer periods aboard.
