Red Chested Swallow

Red-Chested Swallow, built by ABC Leisure Group in 2007, is a well-equipped narrowboat designed for comfort and functionality. With full radiator central heating and hot and cold running water supplied from a 150-gallon water tank, it ensures a cosy experience on board. The hull was last blacked in November 2022.

Inside, the boat features a carpeted saloon and bedrooms, adding warmth to the living space. A 2kw inverter supplies 240-volt electricity to appliances and sockets, making onboard living more convenient. .

Red Chested Swallow comfortably accommodates up to 8 people. There are two cabins, both of which can be arranged as either a double bed or two singles, with the option to add a high-level single bed in each cabin. The saloon seating area also converts into a double bed or two singles using a fold-down bed, providing additional sleeping space. The high-level beds have a weight limit of 10 stone (63kg) and cannot be used above a double bed. Wardrobes are placed throughout the boat to allow for convenient storage.

The fully equipped galley features a 4-burner gas cooker with grill and oven, a refrigerator, sink, and drainer, as well as ample work surfaces and storage space.

The boat has one main bathroom, complete with a wash basin, flush toilet, and shower. Additionally, next to the rear bedroom, there is a separate compartment with another flush toilet and wash basin, along with a 240V shaver socket for added convenience.

Red-Chested Swallow is a spacious and practical boat, offering all the essentials for a comfortable and enjoyable journey.

Red Chested Swallow is currently located at Goytre Wharf, and viewings will be arranged around hire periods and turnarounds, with availability starting mid-October 2025. The boat also holds a Boat Safety Certificate, valid until February 2028.
