Cuckoo's Nest

A versatile layout makes this traditionally designed narrowboat equally suitable for couples or families as a holiday home or potential live-aboard.

Stepping into Cuckoo's Nest you will find a bedroom which can be configured with either a double bed or 2 singles.

Next you will find the bathroom which has a shower with a glass screen, a macerator toilet and a wash basin. There is a small cupboard for toiletries under the sink and an oval mirror.

On the other side of the bathroom is a fixed double bedroom which also has a shelf above the bed.

Continuing towards the galley area there is wardrobe space for your clothing to the right and then a neatly presented galley, fitted with a Inlander fridge, a round sink with draining board and an oven. There is a small work surface to prepare food with some under counter storage and 3 shelves above the sink.

The final cabin is the saloon area which has a 4 seater dining table and living space with 2 arm chairs but this does have enough space if you wanted a sofa. This is a great space for entertaining. There is a wood burner in the corner of the saloon for during the winter months. Steps lead out onto the bow deck.

Cuckoo's Nest has benefitted from various updates in the last few years, including a total repaint in 2020 including new brass vents, horn and headlamp. A new inverter was installed in 2022 and in 2023 the boat had 3 new batteries together with a new alternator.
