Elke is a 57-foot, four-berth cruiser stern narrowboat built by Aintree Boats in 2011. She features the ever-popular reverse layout, placing the galley at the rear for easy access and sociable cruising.
Her striking navy livery, accented with red and cream, gives her a distinctive presence on the water. Recently blacked in September 2025, she is well maintained and ready for new adventures.
Stepping aboard from the stern, you enter a beautifully designed open-plan space that combines the galley, dinette, and saloon. The galley is equipped with an oven, hob and grill, a fridge, and a stainless steel sink with drainer. Generous wooden worktops and ample under-counter storage make this a practical and stylish cooking area.
Adjacent to the galley, the Pullman-style dinette offers padded seating and an ornate table, which can be converted into a double berth when needed. Moving forward, the saloon provides a comfortable retreat with a sofa bed, a television, and a multi-fuel Hamlet stove, perfect for cozy evenings afloat.
Beyond the living area lies a walk-through bathroom fitted with a glass-screened crescent shower cubicle, a wash basin, and a cassette toilet.
At the bow end of the boat, the bedroom offers a fixed double bed, a double wardrobe, and an overhead locker for storage. Steps lead out onto the cratch-covered bow, creating an inviting outdoor space to enjoy the waterways.
