Buru Island

Buru Island has spent many happy years providing unforgettable holiday experiences and is now available for private ownership. Built in 2009, this 58ft cruiser stern narrowboat offers a flexible and spacious interior layout, making her ideal for couples, families, or anyone seeking a life afloat. In early 2025, she underwent a full engine service, and a new Boat Safety Certificate was issued, valid until March 2029.

Entering from the cruiser stern, you’ll find a comfortable saloon and dinette area where the L-shaped sofa can be converted into a double berth, with a removable dining table and entertainment system including a radio/CD player, colour TV, and DVD player.

The galley is fully fitted with a four-burner gas cooker, grill, oven, microwave, fridge, and sink with drainer, along with plenty of storage space.

A separate WC features a pump-out toilet and wash basin, followed by a mid-cabin that can be configured as either a double bed or two singles, with a wardrobe for storage. The main bathroom includes a hip bath with a shower over, a second electronically operated pump-out toilet, and a wash basin.

At the front of the boat is a fixed double bedroom with another wardrobe and access to the bow deck. Central heating runs throughout the boat, ensuring comfort in all seasons.
