Beatrice is an attractive, well presented traditional stern narrowboat, perfect as a floating home or for holidays. She had a total exterior repaint in a rich green and red livery and was professionally blacked and serviced in 2025.
Steps from the stern lead into a good sized engine room, superb for storage of everything a narrowboater could possibly need. A classic Lister engine is situated here.
A side door then leads to the bedroom area. This includes a double bed and there is also cupboard and wardrobe space. Following this there is a bathroom with a cassette toilet, a wash basin and a corner hip bath with overhead shower.
A well equipped galley comes with an oven, grill and hob, a sink with a drainer and an undercounter fridge. There is ample worktop space and with above and below worktop cupboards.
The final cabin is the saloon. There is a large double sofa that can provide a second double berth. There is also a TV, a corner cabinet and a drop-leaf table. Steps lead out to the bow deck which was fitted with a new timber cratch frame and fitted cover in 2023.
Beatrice has central heating throughout in the shape of discreet fin radiators, and in addition there is a solid fuel stove in the saloon for cosy evenings afloat. She is in proud possession of a recently issued Boat Safety Certificate, valid until October 2030.
