A 42ft 2006 STS Boats 2 berth wide beam traditional stern boat.

Although only 42ft in length, the fact that this is a wide beam boat means there is lots of space inside for home comforts that are not always possible in narrowboats. The 'Artful Dodger' has a large open-plan galley area, oodles of storage cupboards and shelves, and the luxury of a double bed that you can walk round!

Double stern doors give access to a useful Boatman's Cabin with space for the tiller arm, windlasses/mooring pins and all the usual boating paraphernalia. A side door then opens into the bedroom, which has a full height built-in wardrobe, shelves a-plenty and a freestanding double bed. A radiator also features to the side.

The bathroom has an enclosed shower cubicle, vanity unit with washbasin, and Porta potti cassette toilet.

After more cupboards and shelving to the side, the boat then opens out to a large and sociable cooking/saloon space. The galley has an integral oven and hob, sink and draining board, under counter fridge and ample storage cupboards in pale green. A side hatch is opposite for extra ventilation, and then there is the saloon area, currently furnished with a large sofa, corner unit suitable for a tv or similar, and a solid fuel stove.

Steps lead through double doors to the bow deck which has an 'A' frame.
