Alegacie

Alegacie is a well-presented 40ft cruiser stern narrowboat built by Liverpool Boat Company in 1998. Compact yet thoughtfully arranged, she is ideally suited for relaxed holiday cruising or as a comfortable entry into life on the waterways.

Externally, she is finished in a cheerful red and green livery, complemented by a practical pram hood style cover over the stern, providing useful shelter and extending usable outdoor space. She was last blacked in November 2025 and carries a Boat Safety Certificate valid until April 2030. Solar panels are fitted to the roof, offering a helpful boost to onboard power when cruising or moored off-grid.

Inside, Alegacie has a fully wooden interior that creates a warm, traditional feel throughout. Entering from the stern, the first cabin is the bedroom, which features a fixed double berth with storage drawers beneath and an overhead cupboard, making good use of the available space.

Moving forward, the bathroom is fitted with a shower, wash basin and a pump-out toilet, providing all the essentials in a compact layout. The galley follows, equipped with a freestanding gas cooker, fridge, and sink with drainer, offering everything needed for day-to-day living or onboard cooking during trips.

At the bow, the saloon provides a comfortable and flexible living area. It includes a sofa bed that can be converted into an additional double berth, allowing the boat to accommodate up to four people. There is also a fold-away table for dining or working, and a wood burning stove which adds both warmth and character. In addition to the stove, the boat benefits from central heating throughout, ensuring comfort across all seasons.

Alegacie is a straightforward and practical narrowboat with a homely feel, well suited to anyone looking for an easy-to-manage boat with the flexibility to enjoy both short breaks and longer stays on the water.
